Jamie on Highway One
With a lighter load, we took our time walking most of the day. We took one short ride in the evening and we were dropped off at a gas station near El Rosario. It most definitely wasn't the ideal spot to be dropped off at because the road had a pretty big, curvy hill. not the safest road to walk along at night.
We didn't know what beauty we were about to awaken to! ThE next morning we woke up to a rising sun with purple and pink skies. We walked back to the rest stop. THERE WAS A small cafe in the middle AND A COUPLE OF SEMI'S AND A COUPLE OF CARS.
wE CHATTED WITH SOME OF THE FOLKS INSIDE. Got the coffee and That's when we met Jamie. He WAS DRIVING a huge semi. Lyle had said sometime before that he wanted to ride in a semi since he was young one. So why not? I asked him where he was headed TO and he said La Paz. La Paz was our final planned destination, so we asked for a ride.
